As summer is coming to an end, people are spending more time away from home. And whether they’re on vacation or heading back to the office, they still want to keep an eye on their home and family. That’s why now is the perfect time to add all-new Nest Cams and more to your portfolio.
The versatile new Nest Cam with serious smarts.
You’ve been asking for a security camera with more power options, and with the new battery-powered Nest Cam, you’ve got them. Nest Cam is weather-resistant and has a built-in rechargeable battery, so it’s made to go anywhere. It comes with intelligent alerts to tell customers when there’s a person, animal, or vehicle, plus 3 hours of event video history.1 If the Wi-Fi goes down, Nest Cam will automatically store up to one hour of recorded events in its memory, so customers can go back and see what they missed.2
And there are even more benefits when you wire Nest Cam with the weatherproof cable accessory or optional POE adapter (both sold separately) – from continuous video recording with a Nest Aware subscription3 to pre-roll functionality and longer video clips, with no cooldown period between events.
If you’re placing Nest Cam outside, the weatherproof power cable (available in 5 m or 10 m) enables continuous power and 24/7 video recording.3 And if you’re installing it higher than 6.5 feet, you’ll need to add a Wasserstein Anti-Theft Mount to keep Nest Cam compliant with mechanical energy regulations – and safe from thieves. All accessories are sold separately, so be sure to keep a few on your truck.
The video doorbell designed for any home.
The new battery-powered Nest Doorbell has a taller field of view that’s great for doorsteps. Customers can stay in the know with a range of intelligent alerts for people, packages, animals, and vehicles, plus 3 hours of video history.1
The Nest Doorbell comes with a built-in rechargeable battery, so it can be wired to a house chime4 or easily installed wire-free. And it makes a great bundle with Nest Mini, which lets customers hear announcements when someone’s at the door, or Nest Hub, which lets them see who’s there, right on the display.
Nest Hello is now the Nest Doorbell (wired).
Our original wired video doorbell is still a great choice for customers who prefer a smaller size or want 24/7 continuous video recording with a Nest Aware Plus subscription,3 which isn’t available for the battery-powered Nest Doorbell. However, intelligent alerts aren’t included with the wired Nest Doorbell. Person and motion alerts require a Nest Aware subscription,3 and animal and vehicle alerts are only available on the battery-powered Nest Doorbell.
What’s coming next.
We’re also excited to announce even more new products coming later this year, like the wired Nest Cam , our new indoor security camera. It has intelligent alerts built in for more helpful notifications,1and comes at a low price customers will love.
Plus, the floodlight cam you’ve been waiting for is almost here. Nest Cam with floodlight comes with custom alerts and bright lights to help customers stay aware of important activity outside their home.1
Finally, there are some accessories you’ll want to know about. In addition to the weatherproof cable and Wasserstein Anti-Theft Mount, keep your eye out for wedges to help customers find the perfect angle for their Nest Doorbell, plus more easy-to-bundle accessories to help your business grow.
