A Pro SKU for a better installation experience.
For the first time, the wired Nest Cam Outdoor comes in two configurations: a retail SKU with a power adapter and a Pro-friendly SKU with a 1.2-metre direct wiring option for more flexibility and easier custom installations. The camera can now be mounted flush against the wall. And with three options for routing the wire—down coming out of the camera, up through the wall plate or through the plate's centre opening—you'll get a cleaner installation in almost any home.
A Jasco power adapter (sold separately) is recommended for professional installation. Keep a few on your truck so you always have one when you need it. Extra wiring (also sold separately) may also be required for installation in some homes.
An improved professional setup for new builds.
We've also updated the professional installation flow for the Nest Doorbell. Now, you can conduct a manual chime test before connecting to Wi-Fi, enabling the device to pass building inspections.

As a Nest Pro, you can offer extended warranties (three years vs. one year in retail) on most Nest products with professional installation, including the wired Nest Cam models, the new wired Nest Doorbell and both Nest thermostats.
